I have been thoroughly enjoying this new series of Merlin. Especially the recent episode. Sarah Parish as the troll is excellent. Love the way she changes her demeanour from lady to troll. ![]()
I hope the series continues in the great way it started

Booo! I wanted Tom Chambers character to be a good guy! It's great to see the cheesy drama back- with some new characters, having to cope with a merger (something I nearly had to deal with a couple of years ago- some of you may remember)
but what happened to Neil morrisey? or the gay drama teacher who won the worlds singing competition with Waterloo Road school choir?
Lots going on in the first episode- who thinks that boy is toms secret love child?

I cant believe it!
I did not expect these two acts to be in tonights bottom two.
Miss Frank performed really well. and Danyl is supposed to be the favourite!
I was expecting Lloyd and Stacey. Or J+E to have outlived their entertainment value.
I cant see Miss Frank outlasting Danyl. Although I would love to see the back of Danyl! And wouldnt it be hilarious that Simons 'favourite' would lose out to those twins

Just out of interest, did anyone watch Question Time last night? If so, what are your thoughts?
I missed it, but have been interested to hear all the uproar in the aftermath.
How did Griffin come across? Was it the right thing to broadcast it?
Lets have a mass debate

So the next generation of the Stargate franchise is up and underway... and it's looking set to be just as exciting as the others. this time a group of unwilling travellers are trapped on an ancient rustbucket a gazillion lighy years from home, in a plot that is nothing like Star trek Voyager.
IN the introductory episodes, the 'team' are trapped on with a dwindling air supply, when the ship comes out of FTL to connect to a planet. Now this leads me to an obvious question. there were sixe people that left the ship to venture onto the planet with the breathable atmosphere.... when the other dozens stayed on the ship with a rapidly dwindling air supply. Now why didnt more people got off the ship to breathe the air and therfore save the limited air left on the ship?
My Oh would tell me that I think too much about the plot.....

Kandy Rain was not a surprise.... but I did not expect Rachel to be the other one. I was hoping for Rikki.
Not surprised the John and Edward got through.... I think there is a certain percentage of the audience going to vote for them just to keep them, to make the show watchable.
PS: am I the onyl one who thought that Danyl was out of tune in the group song?
So who will go now?
EDIT>>>>>
SPOILER>>>~>>>>~>>
Dont look now>>>>>>
Kandy Rain is washed up

So the final twelve acts have started their campaigns to win our hearts and our votes. And what did you think?
The judges were a bit harsh on Kandi Rain, criticising their outfits (when they really should have been criticising their singing)
Danyl also got a bit o roasting from the judges (except Simon) is it jealousy? Danyl did very well- but has he peaked too early?
Stacey, Lucy and Joe's performances were subtle and may get forgotten amoungst the explosion of the others.. like the opening number 'let me entertain you' by Rachel, whilst looking like an extra from the original series of Fame!
Miss Frank were very good, my favourie act of the night- not bad for a pair of bookends.
Least favourite act.... was not John and Edward. It was the freaky eyebrow that is Ricki. He shouldnt have got through.
But J+E- are they going to get through? Will the John Sargent vote work in their favour? They cant sing well- which is probably why they tried to hide it with loud backing vocals and explosions. Which made it surprisingly entertaining to watch. You can't deny that they are what people are going to wach for.

Apparently Claire (save the cheerleader, save the world!) is going to become a lesbian in the 4th series of Heroes in the US.
Personally I can't see what this has to offer the plot of Heroes other than getting ratings, even though it is nice to see two hot girls kissing, it's not really crucial to the 'story'! But seeing as how it's disappeared off our screens for a while now, who knows whether it will ever be aired over here!

For those that didn't catch this on FX, its starting on Channel 4 tomorrow night at 10pm.
Worth checking it out.
We weren't too sure after the first episode or two but it turned into a really good series!

ooooh this is getting good...
2nd episode was just as good as the first. Gonna be a great series I think!

X-factor is about to start and here's hoping that John and Edward don't make it through. They really are bad

I am so glad that this hasnt been axed completely. I think that drama may be a victim of the cost cuts in TV, and was worried that Primeval would be the first to go- and it almost was
Sci-fi drama series Primeval has been resurrected for two new series by ITV just three months after it was announced it had been axed.
Original stars including Andrew Lee Potts, Jason Fleming and Hannah Spearritt will return to the show.
The series will be co-produced by ITV and UKTV, with series four premiering on ITV and five going out first on digital channel Watch.
Primeval features a group of scientists who battle prehistoric creatures.
Series three attracted average audiences of about five million in its Saturday tea-time ITV slot.
But when ITV was forced to make drastic cuts of £40m in the channel's production budget, it looked like spelling the end of the special-effects laden series.
As part of the new deal, also part-funded by BBC Worldwide and Germany's Pro7, 13 new episodes will be split over the two series, with series four going out in early 2011.
Tim Haines, Creative Director of Impossible Picture, said: "I am thrilled that ITV has agreed to this new deal which will allow Impossible Pictures to produce another 13 episodes of Primeval.
"The confidence demonstrated in the programme's continued success here and abroad will help us bring more big screen action and a whole host of new creatures roaring back into people's living rooms."
