  • Torchwood returns

... for a week. Starting next Monday 6th July for five nights on BBC 1

Children of Earth: When every single child on Earth stops, Torchwood is thrown into a world of terror.

  • Halfwit v Angel

Big Brother can be so predictable at times. Early rounds seem to get rid of interesing characters in 'Head to Head' evictions whilst the 'popular crowd' smarm their way into the final weeks. Both Freddie and Angel are interesting characters and I wanted neither of them to go. And I am finding that my opinions of who I like have almost reversed since the first week.

My least favourite by a mile is Kris- for some reason I just cannot understand why such a vacant individual managed to get into the show.
The ones that I thought I would like were Charlie and Lisa and have gone off both of them. Charlie is so childish! With all that 'It was only a joke- I was only messing' routine after he threw water over Angel- which was instigaed by the Bully Lisa- who really had it in for Angel.
And Norin has totally gone down in my estimation. She has turned out to be a real cow... and yet that makes her more entertaining to watch, so I will be happy to see her stay in for a while.

And I thought I would hate Siavash, but I am finding him quite entertaining. I think he likes Freddy more than his popularity/image in the house allows him to show.
Rodrigo needs more air time. Dogface needs less air in her head. And Sree needs taking down with an air pistol.

Do I have a favourite? Not really.

  • Green Wing

4OD, the channel 4 online viewing thingy, are showing quite a few old series. I read today that they'll be showing more from the start of July.

Here's the link for Green Wing, as it's one of the best British comedies for eons :>>

  • Hope Springs

This is another fun drama from the BBC. Totally enjoying it- its like bad girls meets sticky fingers meets Hamish Macbeth :)

Great cast and some involving storylines :))

  • Ghost Whisperer: Imaginary Friends and Enemies

I am just catching up with some of the programs recorded durng the week and I have just seen the latest episode of Ghost Whisperer. Does anyone else watch it? Did anyone else see it? I can't believe what just happened at the end. Poor Melinda 88|

  • Big Brother eviction 2

Here's hoping that..... Cairon goes tonight. I'm not a fan of Halfwit, but id rather get rid of the dicks first.

This program needs a castration not an eviction :)

    EDIT__ WOOHOO

  • Psychoville

    How good was that?????

We even watched 'press the red button for the next episode'

I was never a huge fan of The League of Gentlemen but thought this was a winning series.

  • the Wyldes

anyone else fed up with the rich emmerdale family?!?!

i find them very irritating to watch.

nathan has to be the worst though. such a pointless character.

oh and aint it about time eric pollard died?

    BRING BACK JASMINE!!!

  • Betty's Back!

If you have not seen it advertised already, it'll be airing on Wednesday 24th June at 10pm! :D

  • Grrrr... and the Halfwit survives!

After watching Big Brother on Saturday I am annoyed with the British Public (all five of them that voted). I was just enjoying watching the feisty Sophia in the house. She would have caused fireworks! But no, she was voted out... and who got saved? Halfwit! He has done nothing but drone and waffle and make no sense!

But are there any in there that are likeable? Not really

Least favourite at the moment are Kris and Dogface. I really dont want them fawning over each other to be the big 'story' of the summer. Okay, Kris did well in the food task- at least we can only assume he did. We didnt actually see (due to editting) exactly how many times he crossed the beams. No live feed this year! But he is a sry as a prune with a personality to match. I cannot see how people think he is attractive.

Charlie and Sree are doing my nut in! But Siavash is starting to grow on me--- and when he shaves his hair I might even like him. I certainly like the way BB is playing with him.

Angel and Rodrigo are still my faves though

  • Krod Mandoon

I have just caught up on this and I thought it was really good. Such silly humour, but clever too. Sean Macguire is doing a good job- it's almost what 'Meet the Spartans' should have been!

Anyone else watch this and enjoy it?

  • Chuck Series 2

Good to see Chuck return to our TV's this week. (Tuesday 9pm Virgin). This is a light hearted Spy drama where the main character is a computer geek with the FBI's database downloaded into his brain. He teams up with an FBI and CIA agent who try to keep him alive as he recalls information in the form of 'flashes'.

    Definitely worth a watch

  • Big Brother 10 starts

So the new inmates are in and the show has started. But has it started it a new and fresh way? Nah! This whole "They're not housemates" yet has been done already with the Big Brotherhood. Now there is room for making this becoming a housemate process interesting- and they started OK with Rodrigo and Noirin agreeing to have her eyebrows shaved. Now that shows a willingness to participate. Unfortunately the next two hm's to get status were Lisa (just for answering the phone) and Chris (just because Lisa picked him). Now that was a bad move! Where was the sacrifice? Noirin shaved her eyebrows! Chris did nothing!

And they're a freaky lot this year... with way too much hair!

But first impressions have Charlie and Noirin out in front :)

  • The Apprentice- the Interview round

This is going to be on tomorrow. I really look to this round. They get grilled so much. It must be my absolute hate of interviews and my dislike of the apprentice contestants that makes the combination so devillishly watchable :)

And don't forget the final Apprentice is on Sunday!
