  • Red Dwarf coming home this Good Friday

I must admit I am looking forward to these specials

Cult comedy Red Dwarf is returning to the small screen this Easter, 21 years since the science fiction series first blasted off.

For eight series, Dave Lister wanted to return to his home planet. Now, at last, he has - in Red Dwarf: Back to Earth.

Written and directed by Red Dwarf co-creator Doug Naylor, the new show reunites Chris Barrie as Rimmer, Craig Charles as Lister, Danny John-Jules as Cat and Robert Llewellyn as Kryten.

The two-part series Red Dwarf: Back to Earth, will kick start a Red Dwarf Easter weekend from Good Friday.

This will be followed by Red Dwarf: Unplugged, a "no holds barred" episode with no sets, no effects - and no autocue.

The weekend will climax with Red Dwarf: the Making of Back to Earth, a behind-the-scenes special from the new production.

The offbeat series, set in space, has enjoyed phenomenal success since it first aired in 1988 on BBC2.

It brought in more than eight million viewers for series eight, sold 7.25 million DVD and videos worldwide, broadcast in some 25 territories worldwide and won International Emmy and British Comedy Awards.

  • Todd Carty... The New John Sargent!

So Dancing on Ice is back, and Todd Carty is setting the ice on fire with his stylish... er... style :))

Todd Carty is set to bring more entertainment to Dancing On Ice viewers this weekend with an impression of a cat and a "swim" incorporated into his routine. Skip related content

The former EastEnder, who stumbled last week and made a hilarious exit from the ice, is hoping to impress with his latest moves.

But his efforts to stay in the competition hit problems this week when he left his ice skates behind in the boot of a taxi.

He was travelling back from a West Ham football match and was so excited by the club's win that he forgot his skates, which were returned the next day.

Todd said: "I just can't believe the reaction I've had to last week's routine.

"Everywhere I've been this week people are coming up to me and telling me to be careful and not to fall over!"

Todd has learnt three new moves for his latest routine. In the first he holds two fingers in a "V" for victory sign.

The second move sees him hold his hands like paws - dubbed The Kitty Cat.

The best comes last when Todd dives on to the ice, rolls over and then does the backstroke as if he is swimming, by moving his legs to go backwards.

Last weeks Tunnel incident was amazing :))

  • Not Going Out- series 3

  • Being Human

Just sat and watched the first episode of this new series. It promises to be entertaining, but I don't think it will be one of the biggies. We shall have to wait and see.

I am glad they kept the wolf character - he has just enough angst to be believable. Also glad they got rid of the ghost. She was awful. She grated. Unfortunately they have also changed the vampire. I thought the original one, in the Pilot, was very sexy and I'd have been bitten by him any day! This one - well, he's rather 'everyday'.

  • Are you Lost yet?

Lost starts again tonight (Sky 1 9pm) with a double episodew to get us hooked into the new series. The question is... are you hooked enough? Or have you lost the plot?

I will be watching it... you never know, they may answer some questions :))

  • Plus One- channel four

My OH and I saw this last week... and being a Channel 4 show we were a bit dubious. But we thought it was really funny. The Premise is that the main character's ex-girlfriend is engaged to Duncan from Blue (where FromBlue appears to be his surname) and so as not to look a loser, he is trying to get someone even better to go to the wedding with him.

Last week he tried to get in touch with Duncans first girlfriend... only to find she was in a coma and ended up running a charity race for her.

I hope the show stays as good as it started

  • Hustle and Waterloo Road- week 2

This weeks shows have been good

    Firstly Hustle...
I must admit I am liking that new girl :) (although Matt dicappicino will take some getting used to) It seems odd only having the four of them, but the story was good. I worked out that they built a wall in front of it- although somehow I cant quite believe they managed to get all that stuff up there, build the wall and clean up after them in the short time they had)

Waterloo road is just as realistic as ever. Hmmm.... who can see Eddie going out with the sister and the Headmistress getting Jealous. And that new family.... talk about stereotypes! And the Adult literacy... do schools really have adult literacy during school hours? I dunno. I am certain tht no school I have ever been in has all the staff going to the same pub everyday after work :))

Still... it's all good fun :))

  • Scrubs

This is one of my favourite american comedies, and I like to catch an episode on sky when I can. But last night I saw an episode that I had not seen before and it was bloomin' amazing :))
The episode is the one set as a musical- I think the ep is called 'My Musical', where a patient can only hear everything in song. Do watch it if you can.
    Everything comes down to poo

  • Hustle

Just to let you all know, it starts on BBC1 tonight at 9pm! :D

  • Dexter - Series 2

... Will be airing on ITV this Thursday (8th January) at 10.35pm!

    Woo hoo! :>>

  • Demons- new ITV drama

Well I have just watched the first episode and to be perfectly honest I wasnt that impressed with it. Phillip Glennister (whi was great in Life on Mars) does not suit that fake American Accent he was trying to do. And the other Leads, Luke and Ruby, are not great (at the moment) and I am pretty sure they only called the main character Luke so as to do loads of Star Wars lines- they;ve already done "Use the Force Luke" so by the end of the series I will be expecting "Luke, I am your father". And I am sure they only called the girlfreind Ruby so they could play that Kaiser Chiefs song!

I was disappointed, but the next episode looks better (the demon pretending to be an angel) so I will give it another go

  • Mr Smith, we need you.....

So the new doctor has been revealed as..... Tom Chambers!!!

Nah, only joking. It's Matt Smith (CJ turn to the side and shrugs a la Harry Hill). Still no doubt he will be fantastic. He's young, male and er.. bound to set pulses racing just like Sylvester McCoy Tennant.

Previously he has been in lots of things with Billy Piper, diary of a call girl and the ruby in the smoke dramas.

I am sure that Doctor Who is in safe hands :)

Am I the only one that is excited about this? It's just about to start
