  • Ralf Little

So Ralf Little is not going to reprising his role as Anthony in the Royal family, and nor did he appear in series seven of Two pints.

Are we to assume from this that he thinks TV sit com is beneath him now? :-/

  • Survivers

I dont want to say to much in case some people haven't seen it yet, but I was hoping for more of a conclusive ending than that.

I assume from that cliff hanger that it getting commisioned for a second season, and if so are the same cast going to return? It would be ashame if Greg was to die, as Peterson Joseph is great in the roll.

  • Something Haunting this Christmas from the BBC

Starting tonight BBC4 (10:30pm) are showing a three part ghost story called 'the Crooked house'

BBC Four promises a ghostly Christmas this year with Crooked House, a haunting tale of three spine-chilling ghost stories, woven together for a spooky festive treat, written by and starring Mark Gatiss. Crooked House, which is shot in HD, features a wonderfully diverse cast, including Julian Rhind-Tutt, Philip Jackson, Lee Ingleby, Jean Marsh, Samuel Barnett, Daniela Denby-Ashe, Anna Madeley and, in his debut dramatic role, illusionist Derren Brown.

"Crooked House began life as a single, 30-minute ghost story. However, BBC Four were keen to turn it into more of an "event", so I chanced my arm and pitched three! This not only gave me the chance to write some ghost stories for Christmas – a lifelong ambition – but, by joining the three together in a 90-minute version, to pay tribute to the portmanteau-style horror films which I adore."

  • Little Dorrit..... the secret

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Little Dorrit drama on BBC, but I still don't fully understand what the big secret was. So if someone could clarify I would be grateful. I think the problem was the secret was revealed by that French Murderer and I couldn't understand a word he was saying.

This is what I think the secret was. Old mum Clenham's husband was free and easy with dancers and used to get them pregnant. Amy was one of them that was given away to the dorrit family, but really she is a clenham. And Arthur was also an offspring of his dad's affairs, but his mum wasnt really his mum, but she just brought him up. Which made them half brother and sister. But this can't be right as they wouldn't have been able to get married at the end.

  • Tom wins Strictly Come Dancing

    Controversial? Perhaps.
Was he the best dancer? Maybe, maybe not.
But the public voted for him to win. Tom Chamber. Strictly Come Dancing Winner 2008

  • The Final Dance Off

Tonight is the finale of Strictly Come dancing. Tom, Lisa and Rachel tippy toe there way around the floor to win the public vote.

The show tonight started with the apology and the explanation of what happened last week. We were right- Tom did get the highest percentage of the votes last week and this was not enough to save him from the dance off. I think the BBC may have been covering their back becasue they often say "Vote to save your favourite" and "If you don't want to see your favourite in the dance off then vote now" but this would have been an impossibility in Toms case therefore the statement could be viewed as misleading!

Still, I am glad Tom is here... Becuase {Puts on his Brucie voice} "You're my favourite"

    Who are you rooting for?

  • Strictly bizarre

After the rather weird results show last night, the Beeb released this statement:

    Semi-final statement

Due to the unprecented outcome of the judges vote (there was an tie between the top two couples both scoring the maximum points available - 3 points) the audience vote could not have saved one of our couples from the dance off.

The vote opened just before the programme went off air, we took the decision that all the votes cast tonight should stand and be carried through to next weeks final.

So the audience has had the usual chance to vote on the performances of all our semi-finalists. All the votes cast tonight will be rolled over.

Tonight's vote has been independently verified.

Is it just me, or does that not really make sense? Does it just sound like an excuse to get Tom into the Final (however much I like him)?

    Very, very bizarre

  • Strictly trouble?

I really like Tom and Camilla but after tonight's performances I think he'll be going...

If he's in the dance-off there's no way the judges will save him, not with Lisa's perfect score for her Quick step and Rachel's amazing Argentine tango

I'm just hoping lots of lovely people will vote for him 'cos I can't from here!

    Tom

EDIT - the cheeky buggers, no one got kicked out :))

  • Eastenders and the Whitney Storyline

A few weeks ago I wasn't sure how this was going to pan out, but after watching tonight's episode I must admit I was surprised and a little impressed- especially by Shona McGarty who plays Whitney. I thought it was a believable performance on her part towards the end (which surprised me s I haven't been overly impressed in the past.

And I thought the script was well handled. I think the writers must have had a lot of advice from experts with the way the scene was played and worded- especially in Bianca's dialogue. (Things I am sure a character like Bianca wouldn't say normally). But I think it was handled well.

    So well done.

  • Spooks Finale

OMG..... They can't end it there. what a great end to the series. But now I want to know what happens next....

Great series all through. Loving Hermione Norris as Ros.

  • The Wind-up Windasses

As soon as they metnioned on Corrie that there was going to be a new family moving in I KNEW it would be those Windasses! And I was right! Not since the Amazing Battersbys headbutted their way into the street all those years ago, have a new family caused such a stir!

And there is bound to be some conflict in the street now... I think they had better get some more beds ready in George Formby Ward!

  • Vote For Tom!

A surprising exit last night in Strictly Come Dancing as Austin Healey got voted off.

Now the road is clear for Tom Chambers to win (possibly). He'll be getting my vote

  • Did I miss a Dorrit?

I have just watched last Wednesdays Little Dorrit, the one where Fanny Marries Mr Sparkler. It says Episode 11. At the end of the episode the announcer said the next episode will be in Thursday at 8pm. But from what I remember there was a documentary about that kidnapped girl and her mother.

But next week starts at episode 13. So did I miss Episode 12? And if so when was it on?

  • Rejoice!

Diana is out of X Factor, and about bloody time too!

  • Spooks...

Wasn't that episode last night bloody fantastic. I was on the edge of my seat- especially after what happened to Ben. Wow!
I am finding Hermione Norris awesome in her role as Ros Myers- and Guy of Gisborne isn't doing too badly.

    But as for Connie..... NOOOO!

  • Gnome, Gnome. 'Everbody Hurts' apparently

    Taken from this Yahoo item

Much has also been made of Diana's bizarre singing style which renders most of what she sings unintelligiable - the misheard lyrics have allowed some fans to have fun with the performances such as in the clip below...

  • Leaked results show a surprising winner...

    Just read this on Yahoo

Now here's one we didn't see coming... David Van Day has emerged as favourite to win this year's I'm A Celebrity after details of the public vote were leaked.

The ex-Dollar star is reportedy way ahead of bookies' favourite Joe Swash in the phone voting, reports The Sun.

An I'm A Celebrity insider told the paper: "David is far ahead of everyone in the voting. He has been getting lots of votes since he arrived and they have been increasing steadily. Lots of people have assumed the jungle crown is Joe's but at the moment that is not the case."

While previous winners such as Tony Blackburn and last year's King Of The Jungle Christopher Biggins have endeared viewers with their easy-going personalities, it seems that David is winning votes by winding everyone up.

The 80s star has clashed with most of his other campmates and has been constantly seeking attention since his late arrival in the camp.

If he triumphs it will be a major upset and will come as a shock to the likes of Joe Swash and Simon Webbe who are hoping to win over viewers with their nice guy approach.

That would be so funny if he won, although I think they printed this to try and turn public opinion. He is soooo irritating

  • Christmas TV highlights- now there's a cunning plan

I saw this on the Yahoo website listing some of the Televisual treats for this festive season

Here are some highlights from the post

If you thought you'd seen the last of The Royle Family (BBC1) then you were wrong as one of TV's best-loved families return to our screens in a one-off special. All of the cast are reunited as we catch up with them to see how they've been coping since the sad death of Nan last year. We can't wait!

Doctor Who (BBC1) has quickly established itself as a Christmas Day tradition and this year's special - intriguingly titled The Next Doctor - will be a Christmas Day highlight in homes across the country. David Morrissey and Dervla Kirwan co-star alongside David Tennant as the Doctor takes on his old enemy the Cybermen.

There are more long-awaited TV comebacks as Alan Davies returns as Jonathan Creek (BBC1) and Gregor Fisher reprises the role of Rab C Nesbitt (BBC2) for the first time in a decade. Shooting Stars (BBC2) also returns for a one-off special with Vic Reeves, Bob Mortimer and someone called Matt Lucas who's gone on to much bigger things since first appearing on the show.

Around The World In 20 Years (BBC1) marks the 20th anniversary of Michael Palin's classic TV series while Blackadder Rides Again (BBC1) reunites all of the cast of the classic sitcom - including Rowan Atkinson - to mark the 25th anniversary of the first show.

So a new Blackadder.... Sounds Good

  • Bye Bye Bri

Last night on I'm a person you may have heard of... get me celebrity status, Brian Paddick went. And I feel a bit gutted. Because I voted for him to stay. It's weird, because the reason I like him is because he reminds me of someone I used to work with (at my job before) who treated me well (ie actually spoke to me). But other than that I thought he was funny to watch- especially when he did his trials. He reminded me of a school prefect when he was showing his empty mouth to A&D

David Van Dildo is the most annoying man ever.

Who do I want to win... I don't know. Not Nicola, Not Simon (who my OH used to love but now has gone off) Not Joe really. Maybe Martina.

    Anyone got a favourite?

  • Virgin And The Massive Cock

Quite often, the adverts on the telly are worth watching more than the TV shows themselves. For example, here's an hilarious and extremely funny viral video commercial for Virgin Trains. As you can probably guess from the title, it does have a massive cock in it and you can also hear people screaming, "It's the biggest cock I've ever seen".

  • Most Farted - The complete 1st series

This is an excellent spoof of the 'Most Haunted' TV program, that I'm sure will crack you up... it's certain proof (like you even need it) that flatulance definately is funny.

  • How to not get your arse kicked by the police

One of my favourite comedians - Chris Rock - offered up some very useful tips on 'how not to get your arse kicked by the police' in one of his recent TV shows. Enjoy...
