  • Take Note! CelebrealiTV doesn't necessarily work

Just because there are {supposed} celbrities in it, doesn't mean a reality TV show will work. And in this case- it doesn't seem to have.

Even I haven't wacthed it and I watch any old crap

It was heavily promoted prior to launch and relentlessly trailed but despite that, viewers are deserting ITV2's reality show Celeb Air in droves. The lesson here is, sometimes hype just isn't enough.

Celeb Air debuted with a solid 500,000 on its September 2 launch. However it has haemorrhaged since then, losing half its audience over the space of a week - just 256,00 tuned in for September 9's instalment. The show, which sees celebrities including Mica Paris (voted off in the first week) and Celebrity Big Brother runner-up Kenzie (voted off in the second week) taking over running a chartered passenger jet, is scheduled to run for eight weeks. The stars are battling it out to become the star employee and win thousands of pounds for the charity of their choice. If the ratings trend continues, there'll be nobody watching by week six.

In our gallery below, we look at some other high profile TV flops. Remember Davina McCall's disastrous BBC chat show? Or Johnny Vaughan's hoax reality series Space Cadets? And did anyone watch his 'orrible sitcom 'Orrible? What am I saying? Nobody saw it…

Hehe. I thought Space Cadets was brilliant

  • Bravo Maestra

Last night I finished watching Maestro. Both the 90 minute show from Tuesday and the live show last night.
The Tuesday show was excellent. It was down to the last three; Jane Asher, Sue Perkins and Goldie (from Blue Peter?- Nah perhaps not). In some respects I think that Goldie, even though he got very high scores, wasn't really conducting- but more like tapping his wand in time to the music.
The winner, quite rightly so after a brilliant perfomance of Beethoven's 5th, was Sue Perkins. But my favourite part of the show was the Tag team conducting, where all the contestants had a go at conducting. KAtie Derham was very funny in that- shaking her ass, like a Renault Megane.. (It's worth watching the youtube clip below)

And last night was the last night.. of the Proms. And Sue Perkins did a fantastic job conducting live in Hyde Park.
    A brilliant show. BRAVO!
