I know it's not everyones cuppa tea, so feel free not to read this post.
IT has been an interesting couple of weeks.
Gangsta Alex was removed (HAHAHAHAHAHAHA)
And Dennis, this spit machine has also been removed for spitting at Mo!
And Last night Sylvia the Stalker (Can I sleep with you- stop flirting with me) has been evicted.
And I'm glad.
Because I cannot stand that group at the moment. Dale/Stuart/Jen are unpleasant to watch. Jen is lapping up the attention whilst trying to pretend she's not. Dale's infatuation is sickening and Stuart is also enjoying Jen's attention whilst trying to play the 'knight' after Paintgate night.
Luke, who was my favourite, has turned into a right little shit stirrer! And Bex is just a cry baby.
My fondness is drawn to the Rachel/Rex/Darnell/Mo/Kat grouping. Rex was silly doing what he did to the painting, but he knew and he apologised. Mo was just sticking up for him. They don't deserve the hate they get IMO. I really cannot see what Mo has done so wrong? It's pack mentality at it's most human worst.
I can see Rex v Mo next week. That's gonna be a tough one!

Now, I love a good TV programme like anyone else, but with the huge amount of shows, especially from across the pond, let's face it. You can't watch them all!
Now, so many people rave about this and that. Grey's Anatomy, Chuck, Dexter, Journeyman, Eureka, Spooks, Bonekickers, House, Sarah Connor Chronicles, Pushing Daisies, Heroes, Lost, Casualty, Holby City, Jericho, Medium, Midnight, Quantum Leap (only kidding), Stargate, Stargate Atlantis, Doctor Who, Torchwood, CSI Miami, CSI Las Vegas, CSI New York, CSI Scunthorpe (kidding again), Cold Case, Sopranos (has that finished?)....I can't think of any more, but I know there's probably loads.
Currently, I can't go at least 1 week without a House double bill and there was a time a few years ago that nobody could breathe in the house when a new episode of Buffy or Angel were on. But, seriously. What's going to tickle my fancy now, people? They all have their own wee storylines, so you have to make a decision, so a question to all of you out there...
Which is the best one to watch at the moment and stick with? And why?
BTW People who suggest reality TV programmes timewasters need not comment...

I haven't seen Eastenders for ages- In fact I think I may have missed the whole Mad May thing. Has that happened?
Anyway, what I want to know is...... who is that guy that is after Stacey's mum, and what does Stacey have against him?
Plus- what else have I missed in the last two weeks?
And finally- At last... Bradley and Stacey back together. Yippeee!

THe BBC have been promoting their new drama adventure series. What do you think? Exciting? or too much like Indy?
BBC Drama today announced Bonekickers, a new six-part drama series for BBC One from Matthew Graham and Ashley Pharoah (Monastic Productions), the writers and creators of the hit series Life On Mars and Ashes To Ashes; and Michele Buck and Damien Timmer of Mammoth Screen.
Bonekickers is a thrilling adventure series packed with historical mystery and contemporary relevance.
Set against the backdrop of Bath, a city steeped in 3,000 years of history, Gillian and her team – Dr Ben Ergha (forensic, objective), Professor Gregory Parton (encyclopaedic but terminally louche) and eager young post-grad intern Viv Davis – are brought in under a variety of imperatives to extract bodies, books, weapons and all manner of artefacts which lead them into an investigation of the past that will unlock dangers and mysteries in the present.
From the excavation of murdered 18th century slaves to the possible discovery of the True Cross, each episode is a window on a period of history but more importantly a reflection on how we live now.
Running through it all is a greater puzzle that Gillian, a fiery Celt, keeps to herself for fear of ridicule – the hunt for the greatest treasure in the history of Man, a hunt that drove her brilliant mother insane, a hunt that pits her wits against her academic nemesis, the arrogant, urbane TV historian Daniel Mastif, and that will culminate at the end of series one in a desperate race for glory which may destroy her in the process.
Polly Hill, BBC Commissioning Editor for Independent Drama, comments: "Bonekickers takes history and archaeology and makes it sexy, accessible and exciting."
Bonekickers is being produced by Matthew Graham and Ashley Pharoah of Monastic Productions and Michele Buck and Damien Timmer of Mammoth Screen.
The drama is commissioned by Jane Tranter, Controller, BBC Fiction.
Bonekickers will be filmed in the Bath/Bristol area from early November and will transmit on BBC One in Spring 2008. Casting will be announced at a later date.Never forget... history is now!

The new series of Ghost Whisperer starts in the UK on Tuesday July 1st. 9pm on Living TV.
THis series looks like they delve into Melinda's past a lot more.

I have just been catching up with the last episode of Heroes, and I must say I am really enjoying this series. The last episode filled in the gaps on the last four months leading up to Peter being found in the crate. Excellent stuff.
Now I ma normally slow on the uptake, but I have just realised two things.
1) The character Nana Morgan is played by Nichelle Nichols, who played Lt Uhura in Star trek! Now, given that Sulu has already been in it, I have now got hope that Spock, Bones and Nurse Chapel might also show up! ![]()
and
2) I have just realised that Bob is in fact..... The Hooded Claw from the Perils of Penelope Pipstop.

I always thought Lesley Sharp was ace, ever since the show 'afterlife' which was one of the best drama's ITV have ever shown.
And tonight's Doctor Who showed her again in her best light. Boy can she play 'haunted and tortured'
There are mixed views about tonights Doctor Who, but for me, this is one the best! Such claustrophobia, such paranoia, such an insight into human nature. But for me it was the acting and direction.
The image of the doctor talking wildly with Skye in the background (slightly out of focus) but mouthing every word simultaneously, is a very powerful and haunting image.
A++ from me

Taken from this article
ITV wants to increase the number of advertising breaks it runs during peak-time shows like X-Factor and Britain's Got Talent.
This could mean up to five advert breaks, each of three minutes, every hour in peak-time weekend shows such as Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeway, Heartbeat and Beat the Star, which regularly attract big audiences.
Really ITV wants to create a new show called Britain's Got Adverts!
I'm not keen on having five ad breaks in a prime time show. Adverts are annoying as it is!
What do you think?

And am very rarely surprised by an outcome of an eviction. Probably because the public can be so predictable and the bookies hardly ever get it wrong. But the bookies had Mario as favourite to go, and that's who I was expecting. But Stephanie went. After a week where she met, got engaged and married Mario, and then argued with the obnoxious Alex and flirted with chef Rex, the public have voted her out. She looked stunned. So it is goodbye Stephanie- all you wanted was fame, I hope you enjoy your fifteen minutes worth- but please do something about your make up- you always look like an out of focus Panda.
SO who wants Alex to go next

My pick of the night.
Series of films which reappraise and contradict the traditional view of Victorian society as prudish and straight laced. Actor Rupert Everett looks at the life of his hero Richard Burton, the Victorian explorer and sexual adventurer who brought The Kama Sutra and Arabian Nights to Britain. From Bombay's brothels to dancing girls of Egypt, Everett traces the steps of a man who was decades ahead of his time, and in many ways, a pioneer of ours
I shall of course be recording it ![]()

OK. I have made the title clear, so if you are not a fan of Big Brother, you haven't been lured in
This weekend was the start of UK's Big Brother 9. And here are the 16 housemates...
1) Mario- Although his name isn't Mario- it's probably Cecil or something. He thinks he looks like Joey from friends, but I think he looks like Jackie Stallone. He is going out with housemate number 2
2) Lisa- Going out with Mario. Looks and acts like Helene from The Apprentice (according to my OH) and after some antics last night is a better pairing with Rebecca.
3) Luke- Geek chic. Great sense of humour and not the typical 'love me' lad.
4) Steph- Blonde and young (yawn). ALready been on TV- she was chucked off Pop stars the rivals for being too young.
Now these four re part of the big plot this weekend. Mario has to pretend to be going out with Steph. And today they are to get married!
5) Dale- He is an Anthony Hutton lookalike so thinks he will probably win due to the 'he is fit' groupies that always vote. And probably will!
6) Rachel- Small bubbly brunette, that just couldn't stop talking. Nice girl
7) Dennis- The dancing Queen. His over dramatics have already irritated me. I don't thin he can talkt to one person- he has to address the whole room. He should make things interesting though
8) Sylvia- Reminds me of Amma from BB2. Sassy and Gorgeous, but a bit full of herself
9) Alexandra- Like the old city, she ought to be buried in rubble. She is mouth on legs- perhaps she wants to be this years Charlie
10)Darnell- An American Albino. My OH has not warmed to him at ll. She thinks he looks scary!
11) Jennifer- A young single mum. She looks a bit like Cheryl from girls aloud, but theres not much from her yet
12) Michael - He's blind. He reminds me of Shauny from last year. Although it is good that there is no discrimination in HM's, I don't think it is a suitable environment. People were concerned that he would be the winner from day 1 (Like Pete Bennett) but maybe not.
13)Mohamed- Nice Affro. Seems a bit overwhelmed at the moment
14) Rebecca- When she entered the house it looked like she was going to have a heart attack. She is ditzy and crazy and good for a few laughs (at her expense) I reckon
15) Rex- Is it Max Branning? He is a chef manager. Very rich (apparently) and has a disgusting array of named bling clothes.
16) Kathreya- The Thai Cookie Monster. She cam in wearing high platform shoes which made her reach at least 5 ft tall! She is bubbly and zany and proving a hit already.
And there you go.
Anyone got any favourites?

For tonight, my big tips are....
BBC1- 9pm: The Apprentice- (no surprise there then)
The Final 5 are heading towards the interview stage. But who will impress and who will come a cropper.
The final five are...
Claire (The Badger) well she reminds me a lot of Ruth Badger. She is one of my favourite 2.
Lucinda (The beakless cockatoo)- an odd looking brid with a strange head covering and an inability to handle a mouse
Lee (The Pterodactyl) - A-Aaah- A-Aaaah. He really won't do that impression in the interview... will he?
Helene (The pug) - A bit of a dog whose face looks like it's been hit by an iron
Alex (the dragon)- A huge snake that really ought to be extinct
Or if the Apprentice is not for you ON Channel 5 at the same time is...
The Hotel inspector revisits
Documentary series examining failing hotels in the UK. Following on from the first visit of hotelier and author Ruth Watson, this week's show sees the cameras return to the Grand Hotel on the East Sussex coast to see if owner Peter Mann has made the changes necessary to save his establishment from ruin
I remember seeing the original show. This should be good

So season 4 is over. What I have enjoyed about the season is the flash forwards as the characters work towards the rescue of the Oceanic 6. I am looking forward to the next series now. Are they going to try to get back to the island? I am assuming that the island shifted forward a couple of years (to when the characters are now wanting to get back) But what happened to Locke? Wasn't expecting that!!!!
And and please please can we have more of Claire
