Lost

by PurpleDragon @ 2008-05-09 - 20:22:28

Saw the first episode of the second half of this season the other night. Been meaning to talk about it since, but haven't had time.

Jack has obviously got appendicitis. You'd think he would be able to diagnose himself, wouldn't you?

Locke seems to be turning into a desperate man. He seems to be looking for answers to the detriment of his fellow islanders.

Oh, and Ben. He was so shocked not to get his way when the gun was being held to Alex's head. I have to say, I'm always rather shocked when a major character gets killed. I'm doubly curious as to what the black smoke is ,now. How could Ben control it? Why didn't he make it do his bidding before Alex was killed? What is in that room he went into?

And what is the connection between Ben and Charles Widmore?

I wonder if they will find Jacob's cabin? Will Hurley see Jacob? Speak to him? Whatever happens to him is obviously more than he wants to bring into his reality, if he ends up in the hospital again.

Right. I havent seen the recent episode, so I'm not going to fully read this post. I will do as soon as I've watched it. I seem to have loads to catch up on.

I've just watched it.
I think I can see what Ben was trying to do, but it backfired. It was a very good episode (and yes the death of Alex was a Surprise) I'd also forgotten that Russo got shot (because the previous episode felt ages ago)
Not enough of the original survivors though. Too much Ben! But great to see the Smoke again :)

Oh, I can absolutely see what he was trying to do. But does anyone in the real world seriously think something like that would actually work?

Hurley's obviously important in some way... as ever it makes precious little sense to me :))

And me.

he must be important for Charlie to come back from the dead to speak to him.

That's true... apart from the fact that it gave Charlie fans like me another chance to see him!

im gonna say yes they find the cabin, call it a hunch... and whats the deal with it anyways? gods i love how this show is so random but it does make sense as more info is SLOWLY given.

love Locke! "i cant 'walkabout' anything, in case you haven't noticed im a cripple"

There is a website that I visit :
http://www.lostpedia.com/wiki/Main_Page that gives loads of details you may have missed during the episode (for example, the date on Jin's gravestone being the date of the plane crash) and there are no spoilers - they don't post any information until after the episode is aired.

i love trivia like that, thats really cool!
