This is a new series that started Monday. It's on every week night at 9pm on the UK food channel. Hardeep Singh Kohli and John Torode present this show and I am really enjoying it! Hardeep makes me laugh so much anyway that it's worth watching it just to see him!

On BBC2 tonight (if you are not drawn to the football) is this....
Filth: The Mary Whitehouse Story
Wed 28 May, 9:00 pm - 10:30 pm 90mins
In 1963, Wolverhampton teacher and housewife Mary Whitehouse embarked on a mission to clean up British television. Her crusade led her into battle with the man she held responsible for a tide of filth: Sir Carleton Greene, Director General of the BBC. Only one of them could win. Julie Walters stars as the formidable moral crusader in this feature length fact-based drama. [AD,S]
Starring Julie Walters I think it will be a fascinating docudrama

Don't forget that the Apprentice is on Tonight and not Tomorrow. Something to do with football

I just adore "Come dine with me" and now ITV have come up with their own version of this programme called "House Guest". It's very similar except that one person each night has to stay over and then judge the host on their hosting skills. The series started last week and I just can't make my mind up about it.
Anyone seen it?

When I was growing up, I always enjoyed the Eurovision Song Contest. Even through college there were parties and fun nights in/out with friends. But back then we had a chance of winning. Now, it seems there is no chance for the UK to win due to the obvious international collaboration that is 'tactical voting'. It is becoming more likely now to be place last or second to last, when the quality of the song need not merit it. SO now that the contest is no longer about the song, should we still enter?
What do you think?

I can't believe it! Raef got fired! Mr elegance himself. (After me that is)
I thought their ad was better, and had more heart. Bt the ad that won was garish and ... memorable. Reminded me a bit of the Radion ads. That bright orange box.
I thought it would be Lucinda that would go. But Raef! NOOOOOOOOOOO

If you go to the channel 4 website there is a countdown for something. I think it is for the new eye!

For me this is the new Spitting Image. There are some good sketches like Stop Kate Middleton. well worth taking a look.
Love this Boris Johnson as a dog

Saw the first episode of the second half of this season the other night. Been meaning to talk about it since, but haven't had time.
Jack has obviously got appendicitis. You'd think he would be able to diagnose himself, wouldn't you?
Locke seems to be turning into a desperate man. He seems to be looking for answers to the detriment of his fellow islanders.
Oh, and Ben. He was so shocked not to get his way when the gun was being held to Alex's head. I have to say, I'm always rather shocked when a major character gets killed. I'm doubly curious as to what the black smoke is ,now. How could Ben control it? Why didn't he make it do his bidding before Alex was killed? What is in that room he went into?
And what is the connection between Ben and Charles Widmore?
I wonder if they will find Jacob's cabin? Will Hurley see Jacob? Speak to him? Whatever happens to him is obviously more than he wants to bring into his reality, if he ends up in the hospital again.

My top tip for Saturday night... If you BBC3 or BBCHD (HD yes!) then Radio 1's big weekend live will be shown... including a live set from Madonna.. tick tock tick tock tick tock (9:15pm)
I went to see Madonna live many years ago- the Who's that Girl tour- she was fantastic then, and she can still do it now.
I wonder what the set list will be. Songs from the new album? Or some old material (girl).
I am still hoping for Hanky Panky.... but if I can't get that I'll watch the concert instead

A double firing. Woohoo. That tall ginger Jenny had to go. Trying to scupper the tennis racquet thing. Naughty Naughty! We were almost in fits when they were trying to get a bloke from the mosque to pray to Allah to make the chicken Kosher!
From the people left my favourites are....Sarah and Lucinda, who have both been the victims of some nastiness from the arrogant players in the past!
And Raef. I thought I would hate him at the beginning, but he is coming across as a gentleman! (Michael swears way too much!) And a snappy dresser too - but he was a bit too insistent to dress up in Moroccan garb at the beginning!

I don't suppose anyone can tell me what happened last night. I went out and forgot to record it. Has Jason beaten Shawn up yet? (fingers crossed)

I watched the first episode of the new series last night. In fact it was the first time I had ever seen an episode of it, but I had heard it was good (and it is Mitchell and Webb who I like).
I must admit I did enjoy it. Definitely worth a watch. (although why he let that thug escape, I don't know)

Did anyone see this on Thursday? I was looking forward to it, I like Anthony Head, but I found it a bit slow paced for the first episode. It didn't grip me as I hoped it would.
